Hello! I'm Meaghan Aires, owner of Artulia Jewelry.

I make jewelry from my home studio in Chicago, Illinois. Every piece is handmade and goes through many stages of conception, creation, critique, and cleaning before it is lovingly shipped to you.

I attended Indiana University, Bloomington school of fine arts where I received a B.A. in Studio Art and Art History. After years of studying many different mediums, jewelry design was where I found my true calling. My mother, an accomplished jewelry artist of 30 plus years, encouraged me to pursue my passion for jewelry. In her studio I had the good fortune of taking one-on-one classes learning advanced jewelry & metalsmithing techniques. Soon after, I had found my own unique style and immediately fell in love with the entire process.

For the next several months in 2009, I found myself immersed in the art studio creating jewelry & perfecting my techniques. Driven to turn my jewelry-making passion into a growing business, I decided to take a chance and form Artulia Jewelry. With the help of my husband–a photographer and UX designer–and a loving and supporting family, I was able to devote all of my attention to designing and creating wearable art. It was my dream to start my own jewelry business. Artulia has been a dream come true!

After over a decade of primarily selling my jewelry through the Etsy Marketplace, I am so thrilled to launch my custom e-commerce website with Shopify. My goal is to reach even more customers that love and support handmade jewelry. Thank you for taking this first step towards making that dream possible!
